Foolish Boy
There once was a young boy in school,
and though he was quite the bright lad,
he often acted the fool.
Some thought he was cool,
and some he made mad;
there once was a young boy in school
Then one day he went to the pool.
The people there became rather sad;
he often acted the fool.
Without a thought, he did something cruel.
Everyone stared, he knew he’d done bad.
There once was a young boy in school.
He was thought worth less than drool,
he lost all respect, save for that of his dad;
he often acted the fool.
Since that day he’s had one golden rule,
never go out and act like a cad.
There once was a young boy in school,
he often acted the fool.
