It's got a moral.....
You grew into a
bright
flower, all beautiful colors and
multiple
layers. drawing happiness on the
walls
of tragedy. synthetic absence never
held
you back, and open hearts
never
kept you in. but testing the water always left me
alone
and desire always led you towards the
deepest
falls of addiction. gripping mind with
lace-soft
fingers, willowy joints, and
blackened
nails. tripping forward, falling down,
ignoring
the slightest twist of fate, loneliness held further,
sinking
feeling down to the pit of an empty
stomach
hollow head, ripping layers away. body left raw to
lost
thoughts, only waiting for the best.
apart
from me, you were the prettiest flower. Cut
down
by my clinging need, no shallow water could bring you
back.
Now armed with a moral in one hand,
and
an axe in the other, I promise I'll keep your petals
in the sun.
