THE RED SEA
My first day, yes, the very first day,
The day when I entered the red building
Barging into a crowd mind-boggling,
Watching people quite interesting,
I got my class, alright,
But lost myself at the site.
Felt fifty pairs of clear eyes and a dull one on me
Like a rivulet, I joined 8 B,
To create big waves, one day, in the sea.
Today is the day, yes, after five years of that day,
The red building is still here,
To celebrate its 25th year,
Giving me a chance to stop, think and thank
Standing straight, without a lank
For giving me what it takes,
To, finally, create big waves and even shakes.
This the rivulet, which began from a desert
Thanking the red sea, may you get you just dessert.
