Friends
Friends are good things.
They’re nice to have.
It’s hard to come by good ones.
If you have one, be glad.
A good friend doesn’t care.
About your eyes.
About your nose.
About your hair.
A good friend does care.
About your mood.
About your day.
They care anywhere.
Friends come in shapes and sizes.
Big, small, short, tall.
It really doesn’t matter how they look.
Not at all.
When you have no friends, you feel alone.
All sad and droopy.
When you have lots of friends,
They’ll make you spend hours on the phone.
Friends are not a bad thing.
They make you smile.
They’ll run right beside you.
And even go an extra mile.
There’s an old saying;
Keep your friends close
And your enemies closer
Forget it.
Your friends are your family.
Your family is your friend.
There are no limits.
On who will stand with you ‘till the end.
Your friends can be just a voice;
Never seen before.
Or words typed on a screen;
