Monster
Bloodlust in those eyes,
Hope is dead, so the Earth cries,
Troubles rise while tears fall,
The mighty flee from Death’s call,
Such a terror never before spoken,
As the monster tramples on hearts broken,
As our spirits crawl evil will still fly,
Before dawn breaks we shall die,
Murder is its living breath,
We murder and save it from death,
Corruption is its vile heart,
It is invincible for corruption is our art,
Violence is its forsaken mind,
Crimes and sins of all kind,
All make the elements of the monster,
Immorality is that damned monster,
Terrible monster brings us terrible day,
Yet we in terror make straight its way,
Before us now is the monster dark as night,
When we turn away from evil we shall see light,
Great spirit of peace and hope uniting one nation,
Breathless hearts billowing out cheers of emancipation,
If the words of this poetry become empty, none have gain,
Only the beautiful accord of peace will end our pain
