Walking
Here i am again
Walking down this path
I have been here before.
Walking to him.
It's been three months now
My spine shivers
Butterflies try to break lose from their net that is my stomach
My hands decide it's too hot outside; time to sweat
My forehead follows suit.
Walking to him
I smile
I'd risk anything to see, feel, taste, hear
Walking to love
for love
from my love
Like a tree my hand's shake as if in a breeze
My hair flowing from a breeze
Yet i somehow manage to do this in comfort.
I'm almost done walking
My destination is in sight
his hair shining in the light
the light exposing his eyes
his warm brown eyes
that reveal that his walk has been a long one, too
I see the smile that is now my sun
Warming more than my skin
I'm warm to the core
In my soul, melting
I am now done walking
To what i wanted to see, feel, taste and hear
I have walked
to love
for love
from my love.
