If I were a portrait,
Would you see a face,
Eyes framed with dark lashes,
Wise in their age?
Would you see a lighthouse,
An illumination of hope,
A reassurance to sailors,
Far from their homes?
Or would I be abstract,
Colors and lines,
Open to interpretation,
With my Picasso designs?
Or would you see landscapes,
With unspeakable moods,
If I were a portrait...
I'd want to see you.
