The Salvation of Mercy
Can’t breathe,
Mercy, please,
When will they see?
Where is salvation?
There is no love, no victory.
I do not feel; I do not see.
Thus, it must not exist.
Purple lips,
Heavy breathing,
Pulling out the knife, I am ashamed.
No one must see.
Defeated,
They will inquire; I will lie.
Where is salvation?
The pain is welcomed.
Breathe, focus, deeper,
No one must see.
Mercy, please.
