Abyss
Come, said the mirror
Do not hide from your fear
Look closely with your haunted eyes
Gaze at my shattered glass
Fear shall step from your shadowed past
And pierce your wicked lies
I see my darkened heart
Shadowed mass now torn apart
Imprisoned in flickering bars
That weave around my dark charades
I stared, my eyes thrust as blades
Thrust deep into its blackened stars
The shards of glass fell away
Broken pieces in disarray
As troubled water, marked by violence
An archway was formed, standing tall
Darkly incised into the wall
And I passed through the door in silence
