Apples deliciously cut to the core,
Pies in the oven, and more in store,
Leave lying across the floor,
Blowing in when you open the door.
Crisp air stinging my ears,
Long awaited for the past year,
Warm house filled with cheer,
Along with family close and dear.
Autumn, beautiful and amazing,
Letting the hot summer begin phasing,
Holding on, keeping tradition blazing,
Finally it’s here, my excitement raising.
