Wrong Words
I wish i could get over
This problem bothering me
It has to do with a friend of mine
And what will come to be
You see i think I said wrong words
Except I do not know
Because of my bad memory
The words are as blank as snow
So now I tell the problem
Though I did not mean what i said
My friend no longer trust me
and for that I am sad
My friend has the right to be mad
But if only he let me explain
That if he told me what i said
I could make things right again
I don't remember what I said
But here's the funny thing
I remember all the times we shared
But those wrong words don't ring
I hope I one day read this
To my friend I held so dear
I hope he understands that
Those words were a nasty smear
