A Positive Outlook for the Negative Nellie
Dark words are in our imaginations
We think up scary things, then let them happen
If only wounds didn't exist
If only somebody could grant a wish
We cannot forget our own pasts
Even though the world spins so fast
Let us all make mistakes in pen
Let us all gain and lose some friends
Some things are permanent, while others fade
It's not always easy to turn the page
New chapters hold more details
Images of our wins and fails
Our minds all think of different things
If only we had the courage to spread our wings
Our own reflections show us the truth
Remember the happy times of our youth
Now let us climb a mountain and fall from a tree
Run around and play hide and seek
Life is too short to live in hate
But only we can choose our fate
