How do you write a love song?

Someone asked me how to write a love song,
I said if I told you how then you'd write it wrong,
The only advice I'll give is that you be sure it's true,
That the words from your mouth only come from you,
Be sure of this, be sure that it's yours to give,
And if so, then reflect in your words what you live,
If you cant do that then I suppose your love isn't deep,
And you should put down the pen and grab some sleep.
