The Realization
He's blinded by desire
Of something
He cannot acquire
He cant control himself
Tosses his mind away
On a dirty old shelf
But somehow he won her heart
They became as one,
and never apart
But as time went by
That became a lie
Anger and frustration rose
From their heads to their toes
Rather than the best of friends
They became the worst of foes
Unspoken thoughts
Of all the times they fought
Aching with anticipation
Their faces lit up with exclamation
Then came his realization
Now that he had her love and care
To see her face, he couldn't bare
So that just goes to show
No matter what you think
Don't fall victim to cupids bow
