Embrace MAG
The tear fell down from her chin like a single drop of blood flowing from a thorn-pricked finger
I approached her slowly, and reached up to her cheek
I wiped away the tear in a single upward motion of one finger
As I made the initial contact with her smooth satin skin, she looked up at me
I placed two fingers gently under her chin and raised her eyes to look squarely into mine
Her chin now up, her eyes began to dry, when a delicate, timid smile began to appear across her soft lips
But just as quickly as the smile came, it was gone
She placed her hands firmly upon my shoulders, and slowly crept nearer to my body
I embraced her, knowing her pain, and tried as best I could to comfort her
She was now fully in my embrace, shaking with confusion
She again looked up into my eyes, and an odd smile came to her lips
We stared deeply into the abyss of one another's eyes
She leaned forward and gave a gentle kiss upon my rough, unshaven face
With a smile and a giggle she again leaned forward, her soft lips now touching mine
This kiss seemed to melt away all of our problems combined
The release was like a snow-covered mountain shedding its icy winter cloak
All was shared
All was accepted.
