DROWNING

I try to gasp for air
and wonder who would care
I'm drowning in my pain
there's no strength to gain
no shade of hope
my eyes stings as if they had soap
"have faith" they tell me
my pain they don't see
I'm softly crying
from my heart dying
I'm drowning in my pain
will i go insane?
this pain is too deep
my head held high, i cant keep
my eyes cant stay dry
so i sigh
i try to keep moving
but my heart cant stay strong
i feel as though
my heart is where it don't belong
