songs
You speak to me
words so few
More than a minute
you say the truth
less than three
you seem to be
telling something to me
a short plea
you bring for free
don’t quit, I adore it
Don’t stop, I need more of it
Your words make me crave
you sing and you save
lifting my spirit
with your odes so great
no doors
opened to hate
no such thing as late
never getting old or sore
it’s your language I
want, wait, and stay for
exploring your words
you are just a man
and I can’t stop believing
in all you say, you cause
my heart to sway
with your songs
full of sage.
I know your secret.
You could not hide it.
I refuse be blind to your
Twists, to your winds.
Impossible you say.
But its only right
Never going to
call it a night
at times I think
you sing only to me
your words, useless.
your ballads I breath
