Love Is
Love is dying for a friend.
Love is something that'll never end. Love is helping someone up even though they've put you down.
Love is not giving up on someone even if they always wear a frown.
Love is giving second chances even if under the circumstances they would of been turned away.
Love is taking the time to pray for your family, and anyone else you see walking down the street.
Love is sheltering a stranger from the cold.
It is kind, gentle, and bold.
There is one example that comes to mind of a love like no other kind.
It's Jesus, can't you see?
It's because he died for you and me. God sent him down for us all because we stumble and we fall into traps of sin. But thanks to his mercy, we can be born again.
No other love can compare.
The sacrifice that met him there in Calvary.
For people laughed in his face, called him a disgrace.
If only they knew what he had done. But it was love that made it so he didn't run.
It was love that made God give up his son.
