EMILY A (EPITAPH)

The first beat was the only one to see the world,
7 years inside, imprisoned in 4 walls of pain,
Cancer was taking over,
it was time for her to leave the sinful world,
Heavens gates awaited her plug to be pulled.
Happiness and sadness arise in the room.

The author's comments:
My inspiration for this piece was my 7 year old cousin that had cancer and died. She had cancer for her whole life and spent her whole life in the hospital. The only book she knew was the bible and she knew that God wanted her to be with Him. One day i hope to see her in Heaven.
