Spring
Violets, mayflowers and roses bloom in June
With frost kissed lips will melt soon
Apples, pears and oranges abound in May
My heart with ache I dare say
Winter I grew weak, sore
Now coming spring I'll live once more
I weeped, woed and cried
I waited for that rose to bloom I eyed
"Doest thou hearth thee?"
Looking in a watery mirror only I can see
A shroud of mist surrounding the ground
An early spring rain spread all around
Leaving a frozen tundra with a tear
Now creatures awaken an early dawn I fear
A yawn
Slowing opening my eyes to the coming dawn
The smell of sweet honey and rain shower
Winter lost its power
Waiting for your return soon
A kiss awaits you This past june
