My Letter
My chest pounds for water
My heart screams for blood
For I am thy daughter
Prepare tears for a flood
Hark! My heart speaks
Lying here restless and breathing
It whispers as floors creak
My heart can't take no more, hear it shrieking
Blood dampens this letter
I tried to hide
I know this can't get better
I am condemned to suicide
Please forgive I
I didn't want to but forced to
Listen to my whispering cries
My blood comes from my eyes, I'll dearly miss you
I tried to tell but cried instead
You wanted to know what's wrong to make it right
I will not awake from sleep, from bed
I'll know what this is, this blinding light
