There is a boy for whom I harbor strange affection
It is strange how we suffer
From love’s bitter sweet infection
With thoughts of him
Other feelings also come to mind
Disdain and rivalry with my affections are intertwined
The physical feelings that accompany are ones I do not understand
How is that hot and cold
Can plague my body hand in hand
