Beneath water
gasping for air
Suffocate due to stress,
Family, friends,
No one reaching,
Diving, running in
No help, no saving
Drowning beneath
An atmosphere
of gossip, lies,
Hatred, glory,
Love, care,
No awareness
No abstinence
Of ignorance
Waves crashing down
On thoughts and memories
Faces flash by
Familiar and unknown
Beneath the sea
Is where I lie.
