Taken the jump
He said write a rhyme,
but I don't know if it's right or in time.
I keep thinking, my head is reeling.
How does this sound? Is that the right word?
Who knew expressing your own thoughts could be so hard.
Putting pen to paper is the most difficult, but once you get that flow, man it just goes.
I keep writing, I'm smearing the ink.
My thoughts pouring out, that tear on the brink.
It's going to spill over and roll down my cheek,
but I've got the flow, I can't hold it back.
Holding back these thoughts is something I do too much,
now I'm letting loose, I've taken the jump.
