It’s something like nirvana
It’s something like nirvana
When a passing storm settles outside my window
In the middle of the night
Pushing determinedly against the wire screen of my window
Rain licks my face and
The cold
Wraps itself around me until I am trembling
I can sit there forever
Watching the strong winds pushing the lonely tree back and forth
Their limbs shaking deliriously with joy
Thunder so strong it sends tremors through the sky
As the lightening strikes back defensively
It’s something like nirvana
I can sit here for hours, and let the beauty wash over me
fin.
