Humanity
I’m running away
Smiling in a mask
Trembling at the thoughts to stay
Too much everybody ask
I have a list
There is no end
My eyes have a mist
Where are my friends
I do one task after another
Failing with each one done
Wondering why bother
Where is the fun
I am tired
Going to fast
There is no stop, fired
Moments only a past
I lay in one place
But falling apart
Pieces floating in space
Mind breaking just as my heart
Feeling hatred inside
Darkness is my light
Needing to hide
No longer wanting to fight
Stop calling my name
Giving me duty after duty
Telling me my wrongs, feeling shame
Where is life’s humanity?
