My Confession
As I sit here silent, not knowing what to say.
I just want this to be over, I want to be okay.
This is my confession, the screams I hold within
This is my problem, the ones some call sin.
I push my mouth to form the words, but my heart is pleading no.
My soul is holding on, but it’s time to let it go.
I open my mouth, the screams come out, the truth now revealed.
Now I can relax, my lips are no longer sealed.
I hope you won’t be angered, I hope you will agree,
The Twinkies were too good, I couldn’t stop at three.
…Sorry I stole them.
