Painted Glass
The stream holds within little fish that glide through the water like a kite in a windy sky, birds rush by as a lonely feather floats swiftly down. The crackling fire sounds as if warm water dripping on ice, shattering like a mirror, with seven years bad luck but nine lives to spare as if a wild cat. Big yellow eyes glow like the moon surround by stars as if flashing fireflies. A moment in your heart when fireworks rise and explode like cannons on an old ship, they burst with colors and sparkles like a rainbow of flames. A soul dark and cold like the first touch of a vampire’s lifeless body against yours. Just open your mind and anything can escape and turn the world into a different kind of place.
