Moving on
Moving on
I wish you were here
I wish you weren’t gone
I wish I could move on
But how can I move on when your not here
When I can’t laugh with you until it hurts
When you can’t be my hero of the world
When your smiles are only a memory that fades
How can life move on?
Now that you’re gone
I know my life has to change
I know I have to move on
I know that you’re gone
We know you’re with him
We know you’re happy
We know you’re waiting for us
But it seems to long
To be without you at our sides
We all miss the trumpet
Who never should have died
Who shouldn’t had to go through so much pain
Who should have lived to be fifteen
Why did he take the glue of our friendships?
Why did it have to end?
Why did he have to take the best sister in the world?
Why did he take our friend
The one who never fought
The one with perfect grades
And a thoughtful heart
The fun to all our parties
The joy in our lives
The last one that should have died
I have to move on
But I don’t think I can
Because you touched us all
You made us better
Because you were the best
And now it’s hard
To remember your not here
But we must push through the pain
We must move on
We must remember that you’re gone
We must remember we’ll be with you soon
That you’re no longer in pain
That you’re in a better place
So I’ll see you soon
