Dear shadow
Dear shadow
You see me like no one else
You hear the secrets I choke upon reveling.
You’re the only one who truly stay forever
I wonder what you see when you see me.
Do you see this girl who loves all and hands out giggly smiles like it’s her job?
Or maybe the girl who is love struck by the wrong boy.
She is heartbroken and a mess
While spending her days dwelling upon what could have been,
She invents an eight layer of herself.
It’s there to make her look strong and fearless in eyes of others.
They’ll never know
And not because I’m not willing to tell
But because I myself am not sure yet.
So my dear shadow,
I tell you this now
That I soon will love me
As you do now.
