Another Day, The Same and Changed
I step among the giant trees
On a bright hot summer's day.
The sunlight through the restless leaves
Casts dancing shadows on my face,
And the flowers just before me look
Very much like lace.
I step among the giant trees
On a cool crisp autumn's day.
the strong wind blowing through me
Puts a chill in my bones,
And the colors of the changing leaves
Remind me alot of home.
I step among the giant trees
On a bitter cold winter's day.
The snow crunching beneath my feet
Tells me Jack Frost was there
And the wind whistling through the trees
Puts music in the air.
I step among the giant trees
On a nice warm springtime day.
The sound of birds' sweet singing
Puts joy into my heart,
And new buds all around me
Are the perfect form of art.
