Jungle
I get lost in the tangles of my own head
Caught in the cobwebs of my mind
Trapped in a forest of ideas and emotions
I lose focus of the world around me
As I scurry through limb, leaf, and vine
I develop a rhythm, steady (bu-da bu-da)
Like a heartbeat but more aggressive
Pounding, resounding, through the jungle of my mind
Creeping through thoughts, weaving through branches
Pounding, resounding, through the jungle of my mind
Losing my self, returning my instinct
Pounding, resounding, through the jungle of my mind
(Bu-da bu-da) like a wild headache
Trapped in the rhythm of the jungle, of my mind
(Bu-da bu-da) rhythm of my mind.
