Wanting
I wanted to know,
I wanted to hear,
What you thought of me,
Year after year.
Now I am lost,
Now I am cold,
My sorrow comforts me,
My I wish I was bold.
I looked at you and looked away,
I forgot my own face,
And took on another,
I started to run at a different pace.
Please forgive me,
I love you so,
If I cannot reach you,
I cannot reach my goal.
My love is strong and powerful,
Its as blatant as a tack
But know I have no rhymes,
Because you don't love me back.
And now I lose my patients,
Because guys like you not me,
I have no more thoughts,
On who I want to be.
