Curiosity Kills
Curiosity killed my innocence,
Tore it to pieces and buried it
And now I’m left feeling restless.
I’m fading, suffocating; I’m hopeless,
Wanting nothing but to quit
Curiosity killed my innocence.
I took a chance and was dismissed
A memory held close, how I have to forget it
And now I’m left feeling restless.
Nothing good has happened since
Only pain noted, throwing childish fits
Curiosity killed my innocence.
Ready to give up, to fall into my weakness
Slowly crumbling down, bit by bit,
And now I’m left feeling restless.
All I want is to just forget this,
This pain will stay, you’re the one who caused it
Curiosity killed my innocence,
And now I’m left feeling restless.
