It's So Easy
It's so easy now
No one really thinks it through
Just a gun, or rope, or pill will do
Leave everyone wonder how
Your loved ones will cry
But they didn't understand
The stress, pain, or high demand
The amount was lethal, and you felt this was worth a try
It's too easy these days
Anyone can swallow a pill
No one believes they really will
Then you find you're wrong in the truth of their ways
A simple word or a gesture was what brang
This flood of tears and hurt that sprang
You couldn't go on, how could you anymore?
You won't have to worry as you lie on the floor
Were you just lost, are you to be found?
A person walks in and sees you on the ground
The light shines far ahead
Perhaps this is what it's like to be dead
Inching closer. and reach out to touch
This was all just way too much
Stumbling, now falling, nothing left here
Farewell to those who were once dear.
A need for escape, or refuge then
Now we know what it's like to end
