Toxic Love
You are so peculiar, yet tempting,
Foul smells from your smoking and toxic love,
The smoke chokes me, threatening breathing,
Testing cold waters, like they are a glove.
Do you know what alcohol does to you,
Stimulating with drinks, a death toll,
It’s poisonous, yet oh so lovely too,
Full of imperfections, infected troll.
Wishing for you to come clean, be yourself,
Hoping love to cure your disease, just maybe,
If I cannot save you, can I save myself,
Your addictions like to aggravate me.
Worldly goods torture your existence,
Am I able to help yourself balance?
