I Know I Can Change
I sit here.
Overwhelmed
I play that day back over and over again in my head.
I feel the weight on my shoulders.
I have regrets.
What good are they now?
I want to change.
I feel it’s too late.
What can I do?
They told me this would happen.
I never listened.
They expect better from me.
I give them less.
I hate the pressure of being seen as the best.
I hope I can change.
I always get sidetracked.
I know I have it in me.
I see my imperfections, but just leave them as they are.
I lie to myself again
Same old lie.
I know I can change.
