Opening Night
My head spinning
Spinning with the force of the wind
I slowly slip downwards
Words jumble up in my head
Like a word search I can't figure out
I somehow muster up the courage to face it
Standing fearful and nervous
Together we silently say a prayer
This was it
The music pulsed through my body
Like a harsh electro-shock
Suddenly my fears went away
So much talent all around me
People that have been doing this since birth
I can't help but be jelous
The blinding lights and the ear-busting music may seem like alot
But it all suddenly became a part of me
I know
I know it's where I belong
