Band In My Heart
Whenever you pass by
Chimes are played
Then the bass drum is pounded
Fast and thunderous
The flutes and clarinets
Start the melody
They are quiet
But gradually crescendo
To a soft mezzo forte
They quickly switch to harmony
For the brass is to play the melody
And as soon the solo comes
You disappear from view
The music stops
And the bass drum returns to a normal tempo
