a little broken girl
a little broken girl
lost in a little broken world
wears her little broken heart
on her sleeve.
she cries her little broken tears
for her little broken fears
in the little broken darkness
as she grieves.
that little broken girl
walks on her tired, broken feet
through harsh times that outnumber
the good
and every little broken bone
leaves little broken girl alone
--she would go back
if she could.
back to her little twisted home
to live with little twisted boys
and a little twisted lady
named Mom,
back to the not as broken time
when she would bitch and she would whine
because everything seemed
to go wrong.
but she can't go back now,
she just doesn't know how
little broken girl is gone, you see.
she'll never forget
the little broken regrets
i know this, because
little broken girl is me.
