The sun setting on the horizon
The sun setting on the horizon
Clouds glowing orange, pink, and red
The warm breeze blowing through the trees
Everything is so calm and peaceful
The sand is warm under my feet
From the sun beating down on it all day
Seagulls swoop down to grab scraps
A blue heron wades in the shallows
It spears a fish with its beak
I look at the setting sun
Dolphins leap through the water
Everything is so calm and peaceful
I look toward the condo
An adolescent palm tree spreads its new leaves
I don’t want to ever leave
