White winter
It’s winter, and it’s snowing.
A ten-year-old kid’s dream comes true.
Snowmen, Snowballs, Snow angels, snow everything.
There’s nothing you can’t do.
It’s winter, and it’s snowing.
Snowflakes falling from the sky onto your tongue, and you think it’s magic.
Kids building forts, and throwing snow balls.
Adults watching, and remembering their childhood.
It’s winter, and it’s snowing.
It’s cold, so cold it goes deep into your bones.
You try to keep warm, but you don’t care, you’re just a kid.
It’s so dark outside, its’ time to turn in.
It’s winter, and it’s snowing.
No school for two weeks.
Sleep in late and then meet up with your friends at the hill.
All is good when it’s a white winter.
