HYPOCRISY
We grab more than we can take,
while you strive to make ends meet.
Cutting those trees, damning that river.
We kill, rape, and pillage
everything that struggles in the world
To help?
To aid?
What a foreign concept.
Here we are Iraq, better than you,
happy to make you more like us.
The flag of freedom slowly burns
as the years pass on.
One day we will pay for treating the world the way we do.
A super power, yes, but
an understanding soul, no.
Fighting for finite resources,
what savages we are.
