The Bride of Heaven
She comes walking down the isle
Dressed in pure white.
Her face radiant and beaming,
Expressing pure delight.
The gates of Heaven opened wide,
And uncovered her face.
The smiles echoed all around
As she went to meet His Grace.
The angels danced and swirled about,
Pleased that the day had come
For the most beautiful matrimony
Between the bride and the Son.
The Rapture had passed,
And the horrors were gone.
Now every church
Has become One.
The tears are gone,
With the pain and the sadness.
All of it has gone forever;
And sorrow has turned to gladness.
The long wait is over
For the bride and the groom,
The day is here,
And love is in full bloom.
