Pen MAG
Dear Friend,
You lent me your pen
The other day
As trivial as it may seem
The gesture meant a lot to me
Pulling out my pockets
Searching in my purse
I just could not seem to locate
What utensil I could not seek
Unsure of the answer
I looked to my left
And then to my right
The lifeless faces
Staring at the board
Then I turned around
Your smiling face
Outstretched arm
With pen in hand
I thanked you
Placing pen to paper
Paper to pen
There was no ink.
