The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
I would be a pink rectangle with a tongue, making sounds of a human mouth.
But I am a frog that sings “A Day in the Life”, and has the number 119 branded on my rear.
One day, I will be a red, convertible Ferrari speeding down the slender streets of Monte Carlo.
I remember in my dreams, when I was sitting against a gmelina arborea, eating ice cream while it snowed, as well as listening to the slow, relaxing sound of a piano.
When the word “vegetable” is said, the word “movement” pops behind my eyes and sorrow takes over.
