True Love
My grandmother always believed,
That love was misconceived,
She disagreed with others views,
Who always would misuse,
The meaning not often perceived,
Many people focus on the outside,
And put what counts aside,
Things like personality and character,
Never come into mind,
My grandmother always knew,
That it was more than just the view,
But what lies inside the heart,
That really makes you start,
Someone similar to you,
Who would be hard to leave behind.
