Poem For All Poems
As the sun sets today,
Upon the waters of a broken May,
And somehow you walked away,
From a great disaster and you feel betrayed,
Remember it will all be okay.
Do not fret for you will learn,
That this world it still turns,
Even though your heart will yearn,
For that special someone,
Who made your heart burn,
Remember your life you do deserve.
Always know that love is not lost,
Even though my ashes you have tossed,
And when the winter days fill with frost,
Remember love always comes at a cost,
The loneliness you will bare as a cross.
So go to those in your hour of need,
To those who will help you grieve,
To show it’s not my body you need to see,
But the thought of my spirit will set you free,
Remember me always, remember me.
So I leave you now,
With this one last vow,
To love you always,
And always know how,
Even in death someway, somehow.
