Dark with a Glimpse of Light
I'm stuck inside a large dark cell
With nothing in my sight.
But the hope of a promising future
shields away the fright.
I've lost count of the days that I've been imprisoned here.
But it doesn't really matter
For its hope that I hold dear.
Many would have given up,
But I continue going.
And you cannot make me quit
For I picture that bright light glowing.
It may take years to come for my release
But that will be just fine
Because nothing can break me down
And freedom will be mine.
