Forever
What does it mean when we say forever?
Does it mean a week? A year? Or never?
Forever doesn’t mean anything to most everyone.
They just erase forever whenever it’s done.
It is supposed to be never ending in marriage,
But presently about divorce there is no disparage.
So what if forever isn’t real?
If it isn’t I guess the pain will heal.
Of something that was never supposed to end,
Something no one could apprehend.
Forever could mean something to someone,
Forever could also have never begun.
